Effective Values and Principles for Efficient People

Effective Values and Principles for Efficient People
Most of the time we fail to realize the true purpose of learning and personal improvement, and use new personal and professional techniques only to cover up the wrong deed. It is like wearing a mask, a mask, which slips slowly from the face and reveals the true nature of all of us, eventually, the face, which is unreliable, vicious and leads towards the pits of disparage.
For one, key to efficiency is learning which is, in nature, not a onetime thing and goes hand to hand till death. Then, excelling on it and making it a habit is the real deal.
As Aristotle, the great Greek philosopher and critic once said “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.”
Habits are easy to make, all it requires is a will of doing right and guidelines which are conclusively written here as the values and principles for effective people. These values are easy to read, understand and even easier to set us in motion as an efficient personal.

Be Proactive/ Preempt
The first simple principle of doing things right is to preempt and forestall the bad deed, not just to avoid things to break bad, but also to initiate a good deed. Showing an initiative is the first sign of a fearless and successful personality.
People who initiate become leaders and get highest appreciations throughout their lives. By eliminating the stress from their lives, which they use to feel over a tick of the clock, they do not sit back and watch. They use a proactive approach towards daily routine and live by this principle which makes their lives even simpler than before. They do not just save time, but they also successfully cease a greater vision of their work and personal life. They seek balance and more likely to find success, peace and harmony in their lives.

Begin with the End in Mind/ Plan
Why and to achieve what, should be the first thought in our minds when we start. If we do not, we have more chances to get stuck in the process hence; everything will collapse right on our heads. If we are taking an initiative we should plan it first, dig up the ends head to toe, in comprehension, with each and every aspects and sides of it.
To be clear on thoughts represents a clearer action which leads towards favorable outcomes. Like if we start painting a room do not start all over with walls and floor, you might end up in a corner with paint all over you and you cannot escape it without stepping on wet paint. Start with a string, like a chain hooked all together in a perfect sequence and be realistic with what you want on to its last end, a dog, a house, a car, a perfect relationship or life.
Always remember that everything comes with a price and be sure you are not making a deal with a devil you might regret in the future because it is not what we just achieve with all of our efforts, it is what we righteously and rightfully achieve.

Put First Things First/Priorities
As mentioned earlier, we should plan to make things work so that we do not stuck in the process. The best way to do it is to make a list of steps which elaborate conclusively and helps to achieve a greater task. Best practice then is to arrange that list from our starting step to the final step. As the famous worldwide selling book “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” states in priorities, first thing first. Set your priorities and you will set yourself free from the daily routine tensions and hassles. By inhabiting this trait we can assure favorable results and steer clear of being a victim of the last minute dilemma, confusions and urgencies which are considered to be unhealthy, unprofessional and reflected as a weak personality. Speaking of priorities, arrange them descending to their importance. When we focus more on the last minute urgencies, is the time when we lose the sight of our important work. Just like we are in a subway watching a musician and lost track of our time and luggage and consequently bear the loss of our belongings. Be sharp on the priorities.

Think Win/Win
Self centered and mean intentions get stripped easily and no one likes such person at all. If you want to win then go for a win-win and always remember the “Quid pro quo”.
Whether it is business or personal relationship, it works in every aspect of life. It is a key attribute to interpersonal skills and leadership and keeps the moral high. If you are in a team or family, making a decision which is acceptable and beneficent for everyone is the ground rule of a healthy and a lifelong successful relation. It minimizes the adversary and enhances the ability to achieve more.

Seek First to Understand, to Be Understood”
To make other people understand, you should understand yourself first. Get real and clear on your thoughts and plans before going loud with it. You cannot communicate effectively and cannot make people understand you if you do not know what you mean to say and to whom, understand both first. Know your target audience and possibly hear them out first. The best practice in communication is to let in people with their thoughts and ideas. Hear them out what they want and what they have to say and respond to that accordingly with keeping the objective in mind. Do not flood them with your speech because in that case they will get bored and eventually lose the interest in what you are bragging about. In the fundamentals of marketing it states as “customer’s approach”. Never try to avoid an argument receive it with full attention and respond to it politely because if you cannot respond in a gentlemen way how can you create a victory for all of them?

Synergize
Look upon the pyramids of Egypt; do think it is a work of human hand? Do you think there were machines advanced enough to cut the heart of a stone like the day today? Can you think of anything possibly closer to the idea which helped to achieve this gigantic build? The answer to it is synergic relation, synergy, which helps to achieve an outcome which is far greater than the all efforts put in to it. This story does not end just on the pyramids, if we look closer we can see many shining examples and persons which have achieved the level of it, synergy. In math it is the rule of multiplication, in societies it is help, and in corporate world it is cooperation and team work. With a preemptive approach, right plan on our back, knowing what we all want, prioritized, flawless communication and motivated to join hands together we can achieve more than we can ever imagine.

Sharpen the Saw/Evaluate
Death itself is not as painful as the anticipation of death. Do not fear of it. Do not fear of loss. Which does not kill you only makes you strong so be strong and do not deviate from the plan because it will be the worst you can do to yourself when you drop the idea of being successful. If you stepped wrong, doesn’t matter, what matters if you don’t correct yourself. So don’t stress if the outcomes are not as you planned. What we do wrong is to step down when we face the immediate rejection or the failure. Always remember that nothing is permanent, so not even the failure. Keep on trying but when you do that, must evaluate what you have already done and achieved. Think clearly, reach out to every step and examine where you went wrong. It will not take long when you realize the mistake, correct that and get back on your track with a greater hope and tendency to workout things right.

Aik Tha Daddu. (Inspired by Amy Lowry Poole author of The Ant and the Grasshopper)

Aik tha Daddu...                                 (once there was a frog..)
Uchalta koodta rehta tha..                 (who use to jump all around..)
Hansta kheylta rehta tha..                 (who use to smile and play along..)
Jab jab germi usko lagti..                   (whenever he feels the heat..)
Paani mein teyrta rehta tha..             (he swims to catch up the beat..)

Ganay ka usko shauq bhi tha..           (he was found of singing songs..)
Galay mein uskay soz bhi tha..          (there was a magic in his sound..)
Ik Tiddi se uski yaari bhi thi..            (he was friend with a grasshopper..)
jisko sangeet beemari bhi thi..         (who was happen to be a music lover..)

Dono'n beythe ik roz thay..               (both sat down one day..)
Kerte shikway ik roz thay..                (thinking on what should do they..)
Daddu bola main sure hoon..             (frog said i am sure of it..)
Makhiyan maarnay se bore hoon..     (wasting time, enough of it..)
Tiddi bola kia baat hai..                     (grasshopper said i am with you..)
Koi pass na mere kaam hai..              (as i have nothing else to do..)

dono bolay chal bhaag chal..              (both suggested to run away..)
iss duniya ko Aa tiyaag chal..             (lets find out what the world say..)
Tu cheyr dhunn main raag doon..      (we play along we sing a song..)
Tu himmat de mein aag doon..           (we muscle up with a King-Kong..)

Iss baat cheet mein howi raat..         (day passed and comes the moon light..)
Aur howa faisla, kal se Ja'naab..        (they decided to call it the night..)
Ho ga na pal bhar bhi araam..            (but tomorrow, when it comes..)
Kere'n ge jee bus yeh ik kaam..         (we will go out and we will jump..)
Per aaj zera hum thakk gae..             (but now tonight we are so tired..)
aur raat ke 12 bajj gae..                    (and we have decided to call it the night..)
Tau kal miltay hein phir yaha'n..        (lets meet next, same place..)
Shuru kere'n ge silsalah yaha'n..        (lets start over, same pace..)

Ik chewnti bhi thi sunn rahi..           (an ant was witnessing it too..)
Kai raato'n se sunn rahi..                  (listening to it all the way through..)
Peeth per ladaa tha ik zerrah..          (holding a piece on her back..)
Jo aadat tha roz ki ban raha..           (making it a daily track..)
Soch rahi thi bill mein jatay..            (on home door she whispered..)
Kab dono'n ye hoon ge siyanay..       (when will they kill mockingbirds..)

Jo kal per daalay jay'n ge..               (putting your plans on tomorrow..)
Woh aaj ka dinn ganway'n ge..         (only fills present with sorrow..)
Jo aaj na kuch ker pay'n ge..            (if you want something today..)
Kal bhi woh ye dohray'n ge..            (your action starts now today..)

Crowd and the Juggler

"Be a juggler, who swiftly juggles with the torched clubs and shows a great deal of determination to it. Who's hard work gathers all the people around him and even when he gets surrounded by them, he stays focused the way he was.
But, don't be the one who gets tantalized along with the crowd and becomes a part of them. The one, who rushes in captivity to watch the show, who leaves all his momentous work and forgets the reason for which he was out there."
